Cosplay 101 is an FAQ session for people who want to cosplay but do not know where to start. Participants are urged to bring in reference material for the event.
The session is held as a forum. Participants are allowed to express their opinions on what they think might work, and argue against the ideas of other people. We will focus on the cosplays of whoever comes first and move on when all questions have been answered sufficiently. If there aren't any questions, we will move on to the host's previous cosplays, and analyze how the costume was constructed to further help cosplayers understand their own costumes.
The host is our webmaster, Chris. Chris is working on his 5th cosplay. His 2nd, Yojimbo, placed Best in Show (Saturday, Novice) at the 2007 AnimeNEXT Hall Costume contest.
